Claire ♥ Gary ... Highlights

Claire and Gary were a classic "last minute booking." As a wedding draws near, it gets more and more real. And at the same time, more fleeting. The time spent actually experiencing your wedding pales in comparison to the months of anticipation and planning. And the years of remembering and reliving. But all that aside, there was a simple reason Claire and Gary wanted us to be there: the fireworks that capped off the night. With full respect to my good friends Jinny and Ray, this was no fireworks from a barge passing in the night. This was in-your-face, big and loud fun. At times, I think it was even a little hazardous. So good for video!

The biggest push for video came from Claire's mom, who simply really really really wanted to have her daughter's wedding captured beautifully. I mentioned to her how much I loved the cake, with appliquéd icing snowflakes. and she told me something so precious. She said that Claire loves snowflakes, and that she thought the theme of the wedding should be "Snowflakes and Precious Moments." Awwww!!!

It also helped the video how infatuated C&G are with one another. They fit perfectly together and were a joy to have on camera. We hope they - and Claire's mom! - treasure their video.
